ROSE HANNAH CLIFFORD (nee GREEN) Died peacefully in her 101st year on July 18, 2001 in Vancouver, BC. She is survived by her grandchildren, Karen Kingsmill, Stephen, Chris, Beth, Amanda and Brian Clifford; and great-granddaughter Jennifer Kingsmill. Born in Birmingham, England, Rose lived most of her life in Transcona, retiring first to Kelowna, BC and then to Vancouver. She was predeceased by her son, Norman Keith Clifford; and her husband of 73 years Edward Norman Clifford. Her long life was filled with generosity, particularly towards her family. She was the last of her generation in the family, and her passing marks the end of an era.
